There are two main characters – James and Margaret. Each of them will have his own music theme. During parallel storytelling each theme will be used separately for James or for Margaret. In finale, when Margaret is transforming to James, both themes will play together. Both themes are composed with this idea, therefore those are compatible and harmonize together.
